Trans 001 is a custom E-bike that I built in connection to my capstone paper. The project is the visual outcome of a semester spent studying the importance of ‘design built to last.’ The unique frame is built from two circumvented tubes, which eliminate the need for a seat tube, chain stays, or other supports. Trans 001 is powered by a single hub motor, compacted into the rear wheel. The minimal nature of the bike decreases the foreseeable need for maintenance and ensures that Trans 001 will stand the test of time.

Additionally, this project includes a full branding campaign and a 40 page research book. Trans 001 was on display during the month of April, 2019 at the Harold B Lee Library. See full project here.

The Battle of the Teutoburg Forest prevented The Roman Empire from ever conquering the Germanic People. But imagine if this battle had ended differently. Alter-Roma combines the letterforms of Roman inscriptional capitals & Norse runes to create a peculiar display font.

Since 1990, Why Not Productions has been behind some of France’s most contemporary art house films. The independent production company has recently expanded its influence beyond French cinema, and into the North American market.

The purpose of this rebrand is to give Why Not and identity that is just as visually striking as their films, and to build trust and enthusiasm in viewers for every film release. See full project here.

Not far from Montreal is a small charming town where I lived for a year. I wanted to express the calm and inviting atmosphere of Pointe-Claire through elegant typography and simple illustrations. The vibrant red chosen for this identity is meant to beautifully contrast the blue tones that accompany a lakeside town.

The New Audi Q8 is a unique cross between sport and utility. while at VB&P, I created a custom Q8 monogram and applied different treatments to portray the versatile nature of the car.
